McClellan:Bush Needed War to Achieve Greatness

Most left wing bloggers knew from the very beginning of the “run-up to the war” that the war was about propaganda and oil.  What suprised many was George Bush’s assertion that he needed a war to achieve greatness.  McClellan tells his readers:

“As I have heard Bush say, only a wartime president is likely to achieve greatness,” he writes in brutal book that Bush aides quickly branded a coarse betrayal. “In Iraq, Bush saw his opportunity to create a legacy of greatness.”

Now I ask you, did 4100 United States soldiers die for George W. Bush’s vanity?  Did hundreds of thousands of Iraqis die for Bush’s ego?
